...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PST THIS
EVENING ABOVE 4500 FEET...
* WHAT...Snow. In the Cascades above 4500 feet, snow accumulation
of 5 to 12 inches. In the Siskiyous above 5000 feet, snow
accumulations of 4 to 9 inches.
* WHERE...Portions of the southern Oregon Cascades and
Siskiyous. This includes Lake of the Woods, portions of
highways 140, 66 and the Mount Ashland Ski Road.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM PST. The heaviest snow will occur before 4
PM.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. Snow levels
will start around 4500 to 5000 feet. Snow levels will then lower
later today and reach a minimum around 3000 feet as the
precipitation becomes showery and ends tonight.
